Sometimes you want all the messages from one party to be filtered into another folder besides your Inbox. You can easily accomplish this with Rules in Outlook.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
  2. Right-click on your email address and select New Folder.
  3. Label it whatever title you would like and click Enter.
  4. On the Home tab of Outlook, click on the Rules drop-down and select "Manage Rules and Alerts."
  5. Click New Rule.
  6. Make sure the default "Move messages from someone to a folder" is selected.
  7. Under Step 2 at the bottom, click on "People or public group."
  8. At the bottom of this screen, to the right of From, type the email address of the sender you would like to re-direct.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click on "Specified" at the bottom to select the destination folder.
  11. Select the folder you created in Step 3.
  12. Click Finish.
  13. Click OK.
